Mom was released from the hospital last night and wanted to go to her own apartment rather than stay with me. She looked strong enough and I think she will be more comfortable there where she has things to do and people to visit during the day while I'm away.
Thank you all for your prayers. God-willing, she will continue to recover. She will be going for more tests soon to see if they can pin-point the source of this recurring digestive tract bleeding which has been evading doctors for almost 2 years. It's believed to be an AVM in the very long and narrow small intestine where typical scopes cannot reach. She will undergo her second camera-pill study in a week or two. If the source is found, they will likely do surgery to remove that section.
