On Thursday, which is when Corpus Christi in 1962 Missal, Assumption Grotto will have it's daily 7:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Masses in EF. On Sunday, the EF Mass moves to the Noon time slot for an external observance of Corpus Christi, followed by a procession on the grounds. This is also an orchestral Mass. Fr. Perrone will be conducting the choir and orchestra, as follows:
- Mozart's Coronation Mass complete
- Mozart's Vespers for a Confessor (only two movements) "Confitebor"
- and "Laudate Dominum" Confitebor (the second movement for the beginning)
- Laudate Dominum (the second last movement).
When the EF Mass shifts to the Noon time slot, the new Mass, in Latin, is celebrated at 9:30 a.m.
Here is a video from photographs of the 2010 Corpus Christi Procession. Some of the altar boys in this video are now men.
