In itself, the Q & A sheet, or FAQ, is catechetical, or instructional. It is lengthy, but well worth the read which will clarify some of the information that has been floating around.
Click the pick below and it will take you directly to the PDF at the diocesan webstie. It's a good read.

After spending the evening at the Bishop's listening session at his first visit to St. Thomas Church in Beloit I am very troubled with the lack of any reason for the dismissal of a devoted Catholic servant for forty years based on undisclosed accusations by undisclosed accusers. This is a huge disclosure regarding of the great lack of judgment this Bishop is bringing to the Diocese of Madison. I pray God will help all of us devote Catholics in this terrible administration of our faith. This has ruined my Lenten Season... How about yours?

"Devout" means not just prayerful or nice. It means that one practices the faith, with the mind of the Church, not one's own mind.
It's good the bishop came to listen. However, he has made clear many times, and it is customary for anyone who is fired from anyplace that matters are not discussed with the public. This should not be surprising.
Plenty was said through the diocesan FAQ's, more than I anticipated.
I was also at the listening session in Beloit. It was very warm-hearted of the Bishop to come and listen. It gave the parish a chance to defend Ruth's good name, and praise all of her good work.
This mess up has interfered with my Lent. Bishop Morlino commented that it has hurt his Lent, and he hopes we can all celebrate Holy Week in peace.
Concerning Ruth's "undisclosed accusations by undisclosed accusers," I'm afraid it's all out in the open now. She is affiliated with the dissident group CALL TO ACTION, and that awful National Catholic Reporter. She was quoted in the newspaper again, a few days before the meeting, affirming her personal support for priestesses and homosexual unions.
I think Bishop Morlino is sorely tempted to restore her to Beloit, for love of the Beloit people... but I don't see how he can do it now.

Despite love and sympathy for Ruth Kolpack, many do not believe that a person with erroneous theology who will not be corrected by her Bishop can be placed in a position of authority in the Catholic Church. This would place children, and all the Faithful under her, in spiritual jeopardy.
A math teacher who does not teach balanced equations would not continue to be employed.
God bless Ruth in her spiritual journey, and God bless the Bishop for his courageous and difficult work. Like a good parent, he is often not popular, particularly with those being corrected.
