It will be an orchestral Mass featuring the Requiem by Maurice Duruflé. This change has something to do with the calendars of the two forms, and the way the feast days are falling. Father will explain it this weekend in a pamphlet insert.
Te Deum Laudamus! Home
The obedient are not held captive by Holy Mother Church; it is the disobedient who are held captive by the world!

Diane,
Under the ordinary form calendar, All Souls Day replaces the regularly scheduled Sunday.
Under the extraordinary form calendary, if Nov. 2 falls on a Sunday, All Souls is transferred to Nov. 3.
Thus, I presume you are correct that the 9:30 requiem will be according to the ordinary form.
David
