First Friday at Grotto

As I mentioned in my last post, today is the Feast of St. Therese in the new calendar.

It is also the "First Friday" a day we devote ourselves to the Sacred Heart.

As on all First Friday's, Assumption Grotto will hold it's daily Adoration in the parish Church, rather than the chapel. It can get very thin with people in the early afternoon so if you are available, please go and spend an hour with Our Lord.

It ends any time after 6:30 in order to prepare for Mass at 7:00. Sometimes the priest let's it continue thru 6:50 or so, but not always. Confessions are also heard before Mass.

It's also a good time to mention that with secular Carmelites meeting on the First Saturday of each month (a day we devote ourselves to the Immaculate Heart of Mary), there will be an additional Mass at 8:30 AM.
