First, tomorrow, which many refer to as Divine Mercy Saturday, the Helpers of God's Precious Infants will hold their first vigil of the year outside of two abortion clinics. Nearly 700 people showed up for the vigil led by Archbishop Vigneron last year, and it's not uncommon for about 300 to be at these peaceful prayer vigils. Many bring their families. It will start out with 7:30am Mass at Assumption Grotto led by Msgr. Robert McClory, Moderator of the Curia for the Archdiocese of Detroit. Click the first link for details.
I myself cannot make the vigil due to a funeral. Please pray for the repose of the soul of Irene, my brother-in-law's mother who passed away Wednesday.
