Planned Parenthood Protests this Saturday

I meant to pass this along earlier in the week and got caught up in things.

This Saturday there will be nationwide protests against Planned Parenthood.  I think this is primarily a battle against Powers and Principalities - one that requires prayer and fasting.  That should be the first thing we do, begging God for an end to the horrific scourge of human sacrificed cloaked under the guise of "care."

That said, prayer and fasting can be accompanied by peaceful protests of this kind.  There is a website for the day which has the information you need to find a Planned Parenthood center near you.  The site has other useful info, but nothing graphic on the front page if you click the link.

The mission reads, in part:

ProtestPP is a coalition of pro-life groups calling for a National Day of Protest on August 22, 2015 at Planned Parenthood facilities all across America. Our goal is to raise awareness of the heartless and even illegal activities of Planned Parenthood by going to where the killing and harvesting of body parts from aborted children takes place. The four main sponsors are: Created Equal, the Pro-Life Action League, 40 Days for Life, and Citizens for a Pro-Life Society.
Creating a presence at neighborhood Planned Parenthood facilities is essential to inform the public about what is going on behind closed doors. Local sidewalk counselors and activists are a key component to shutting down Planned Parenthood in the long term.
The National Day of Protest will strengthen local efforts by raising their profile with the local press, the community and other pro-life activists. Together, the protests held on August 22 will put pressure on the media, both local and national, to report the truth about Planned Parenthood, and on government officials to stop funding this discredited organization.

Locations:

Here you will find current locations for the August 22 #PPSellsBabyParts National Day of Protest. Unless indicated otherwise in the details for a location, all protests will take place Saturday, August 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. local time. (Click here, navigate to your state and find a location)

Go to Mass!

If you do something like this, try to make it to Mass.  Don't just protest, pray - pray for conversions.   Assumption Grotto has a 7:30 AM Mass Monday through Saturday.  I believe Ss Cyril & Methodius still has a 6:00 a.m. Mass on Saturdays. Call first.  I just went to the Archdiocese of Detroit website and did a search on Saturday morning Masses for the 7-9 AM toggle (obviously you need something quite early).  This may take you there, but I see 42 parishes have Saturday morning Masses.  Not all will work, but you just might find something. Or, look for a Friday night Mass.  Here's the AoD's.  You may need to toggle.
