R.I.P.: Eleanor Schiapacasse - Grotto's longest living parishioner

At Mass this morning, it was announced that Eleanor Schiapacasse passed away. She will only be laid out in the morning at Grotto at 9:00am. I believe the Mass is at 10:00am.
I have no other details at this time.
Requiescat in pace.

Te Deum Laudamus! Home

The obedient are not held captive by Holy Mother Church; it is the disobedient who are held captive by the world!

"Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints."

May this dear, dear friend and sister in Christ, quickly receive the reward of the just and forever behold the splendor of her Beloved Lord and Savior face to face. In the everlasting company of Mary and the angels and saints, may she rest in peace and intercede for us.

We will miss her humble piety, joyful charity, indomitable spirit, great sense of humor and her incredible common sense! She was one of the faithful remnant that kept the lamp burning at Grotto for many years, so that all of us who came after her would be blessed. Thank you God. Thank you Blessed Mother. Thank you Eleanor.
I love you so much.
