Cute pixar short-video

H/T to AmericanPapist and the Anchoress (who links it to Caritas in Veritate).

This reminds me of cartoons of old when innocence ruled. We need more of this, in full length, without innuendos and hidden immorality found in some things today.

EDIT: OK - the movie has been disabled, probably due to copyright issues. Go to that link at the Anchoress and see if that one is still playing. Otherwise, google "Partly Cloudy Video Pixar" and try a few sites. It's worth the time if you can find it playing where it hasn't been yanked yet.

Te Deum Laudamus! Home

The obedient are not held captive by Holy Mother Church; it is the disobedient who are held captive by the world!

Thanks for the awesome video, Diane.

The video can be found playing on The Anchoress blog on "First Things" along with a wonderful commentary:

This story in the film also reminds me of the famous little prayer of St. Ignatius of Loyola:

Prayer for Generosity

Lord Jesus Christ, teach me to be generous.
Teach me to serve You as You deserve;
to give and not to count the cost;
to fight and not to heed the wounds;
to toil and not to seek for rest;
to labor and not to ask for reward, save that of
knowing that I am doing Your will.

AND..knowing you personally as I do, I recognize a lot of that saintly little stork's "holy moxie" in you!
Ya' can't keep a good Carmelite down!
Keeping you in prayer...
